Mother 'devastated' after breastfeeding wrong baby
A mother has been left devastated after breastfeeding the wrong baby.
The mix-up took place at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minnesota after staff placed the baby in the wrong crib in the hospital's nursery, and the little one's mum Tammy Van Dyke broke down in tears upon being told that her baby has been feed by someone else, ABC reports.
The baby now has to be tested for HIV and hepatitis every three months for the next year, but following the mistake the hospital has agreed to fork out the bill. The results have come back negative so far.
