A landlord in the US is suing former tenants who claim one of his houses is haunted.

Richard Lopez has filed a Superior Court lawsuit against the former residents after they allegedly told the Asbury Park Press that the Toms River home they rented from the landlord was haunted.

Richard is seeking $15,000 (€11,314) as he believes it will now be harder to rent out or sell the house, but the family claim to have experienced a number of strange goings on.

The couple claim their clothes were being mysteriously moved, doors would creak and slam, and on one occasion they said an invisible hand touch someone's arm.
