Free parking for US woman after 'fat' jibe

A US-based woman has been offered free parking for a year after being called "fat".

Sharyn Peoples was described as "fat" on a valet ticket she received after taking her car to have a clean, and after complaining to LAZ Parking she has now been offered free parking and a gift card to a restaurant.

Despite receiving an apology and the gestures of goodwill, she has called for the valet in question to be sacked.

She told NBC Miami: "[The manager] said: 'We employ 18-to-20-year-old kids', and I said: 'Sir, they're legally adults'.

"People should not accept employees slandering their patrons in any shape or form."
