Feline overload pushes Israeli man to file for divorce
A man from south Israel has divorced his wife after she brought 550 cats into their home.
The husband – who has not been named – was not a kitty lover and told the Rabbinical Court in Beersheba that the moggies left him unable to sleep in his bedroom, and they wouldn't allow him to prepare meals in the kitchen.
The man also complained that the cats blocked his path to the bathroom and stole his food when he was trying to eat, the Hebrew daily Maariv reports.
Despite attempted reconciliation, his wife was more interested in staying with her felines, so the pair divorced.
