Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is "upset" his dog isn't allowed into Wimbledon.

The world number two is not happy his pet pooch Pierre – who has been to all the European clay courts with the player - is not allowed into England, let alone able to join him at the London-based tennis tournament.

A source told the Sunday Telegraph newspaper: "He is upset he can't bring Pierre to Wimbledon and he is pleading with the authorities to let the dog in.

"Whenever he can he takes the dog with him. He is genuinely upset. For him this is a very serious issue."

Pierre even has his own social networking page on twitter, which features him making conversation with tennis player Andy Murray's pet pooch Maggie May.
