Burglars asked for help in tackling burglaries

Danish police facing a 60% surge in burglaries are turning to the experts to help solve the problem – the crooks themselves.

Danish police facing a 60% surge in burglaries are turning to the experts to help solve the problem – the crooks themselves.

Police spokesman Finn Bernth Andersen said burglars caught red-handed will be asked to participate in an anonymous questionnaire about their crimes.

They will be asked about their typical targets, motives and disposal methods for stolen goods.

Mr Bernth Andersen said: “We’ll do anything we can to lower the number of burglaries.”
