A gorilla and a rabbit have become best mates.
Since they were introduced to each other at Erie Zoo in Pennsylvania last month, Samantha - a 47-year-old western lowland who recently lost her long-time partner Rudy - and Dutch rabbit Panda have become inseparable.
Zoo executive Scott Mitchell told the Erie Times-News: "He's fearless. He's not threatened by her.
"More often they're closer together than they are farther apart."
The couple now live together unsupervised in close living quarters.
