Three killed in Afghan bomb blast

A roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan has killed two local council members and an Afghan policeman.

A roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan has killed two local council members and an Afghan policeman.

Fareed Ayal, who is a spokesman for the police chief in Uruzgan province, said the two council members from Gizab district and the policeman died when the bomb hit their car last night.

He added that two other council members were wounded when their car hit a second bomb nearby.
