More than a dozen pupils have been injured, one of them critically, after a stage collapsed during a performance at an Indiana high school.
Police captain Charles Hollowell said the stage gave way at Westfield High School, about 20 miles north of Indianapolis.
A large group of youngsters were on the stage during the grand finale of American Pie when the floor collapsed.
Chris Baldwin, who works in human resources for the high school, said classes would take place today.
