Police in Wales are hunting for a mother who has disappeared with her 10-week-old baby.

Nichola Williams, 30, was last seen about 7pm on Saturday at the Blaina Wharf pub in Newport, South Wales.

Gwent Police are asking for anyone with information to contact officers. A force spokesman said: “Nichola, who is from the Maesglas area, is with her 10-week-old baby who is in a car-seat type push chair.

“Nichola is described as white, between 5ft 2in and 5ft 4in tall and of medium build. She was last seen wearing a flowery t-shirt and grey jeans. She has short black hair and a tattoo on her forearm.”
