Two steeplechase races axed at Roscommon
04/08/2009 - 09:16:06The steeplechases planned for Roscommon this evening have been abandoned due to poor course conditions.
A total of two races have been axed, with the JF Hanley Group Maiden Hurdle now divided to form a seven-race programme.
The first one goes to post at 5.45pm.
The ground on the flat and hurdle course at Roscommon is currently rated as soft to heavy.
