Authorities have said it is unclear how many were onboard.

A log book has helped identify two men aged 61 and 81 who are thought to have been on board.

Another plane, piloted by a 72 year old woman was expected to arrive at Torrance airport earlier on Friday but has not appeared.

Divers have been sent to search the area.
