Two coalition soldiers killed in Kabul bomb blast
08/09/2006 - 07:57:03A massive explosion today near the US Embassy in the Afghan capital tore apart a military vehicle and killed at least three people, including two US-led coalition soldiers.
Ali Shah Paktiawal, criminal director of Kabul police, said the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber.
The explosion blew a military vehicle into two burning chunks and scattering debris and body parts over a 50-yard radius.
US soldiers and heavily-armed American security forces cordoned off the scene.
