Two men accused of murdering a British soldier in London earlier this year have pleaded not guilty.

Two men accused of murdering a British soldier in London earlier this year have pleaded not guilty.

Fusilier Lee Rigby was killed in an attack in Woolwich at the end of May.

Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale appeared at the Old Bailey earlier.

Both men deny the murder and a trial date has been set for November.

Meanwhile the widow of Lee Rigby has broken down in tears at the plea.

Rebecca Rigby saw Mr Adebolajo and Mr Adebowale appear at the Old Bailey in London via videolink.

They also pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder a police officer on May 22 - the day of the fusilier's death in Woolwich, in south east London.

A trial date has been set for November 18.
