Taliban deny leader called for talks with Obama

The Taliban in Afghanistan has denied reports that their leader Mullah Omar wrote to the US President Barack Obama last year calling for talks to end the war.
A spokesman for the Taliban leader has described it as "baseless allegations."
The previously undisclosed communication in July was considered authentic by people who saw it.
