Search engines are coming under fire for not doing enough to tackle child pornography.

Mark Bridger was jailed for the rest of his life yesterday for murdering April Jones in Wales.

Charities and government advisors are demanding more action to block access after explicit pictures of children were found on his computer.

"We do see that there is this link between people that view the images and also then go on to do offline child sexual abuse," said child protection expert Jonathan Taylor.

"But also one of the biggest issues we have with the internet is that it can go motivate and justify a sex-offender."
