Protestors climb Palace railings

Protesters today attached a banner to railings outside Buckingham Palace and tried to climb over them, police said.

Protesters today attached a banner to railings outside Buckingham Palace and tried to climb over them, police said.

It was thought about five people were involved in the incident at the front of the Palace, which happened at about 12.15pm, Scotland Yard said.

Initial indications were that some arrests were made but there was no more information. It was not immediately known what the people were protesting about.
