Prince Charles' car collides with deer at Balmoral Estate

Prince Charles' car has been involved in a collision with a deer at the Queen's Balmoral estate in Scotland, according to reports.

Charles is said to be unhurt following the incident over the weekend.

The Audi he was driving was reportedly damaged in the incident. The condition of the deer is unknown.

A spokesman for Clarence House refused to comment on the crash.

Reports that a specialist mechanic attended the scene have not been confirmed by Clarence House.

It is understood Charles was on a break from official royal duties at the time.

The incident comes at a time of year when the royals traditionally visit the area and carry out a number of public engagements.

Last week, Charles addressed a gathering in East Ayrshire promoting wool products in response to low prices paid to British farmers.
