'Possible armed subject' has been reported on Virginia Commonwealth University campus
A university in the US state of Virginia is reporting a "possible armed subject" on its campus.
Virginia Commonwealth University is advising people to avoid the area and said that university police are on the scene.
The suspect is described as male, wearing a military style hat and backpack.
The report has been made less than a day since a shooter killed nine at Oregon college before being shot by police.

Police at a university in the US state of Virginia have said they have been unable to confirm a "possible armed subject" on campus.
Virginia Commonwealth University have said police are continuing to monitor the area, but people should resume normal activity, and report any unusual activity.
