Poker raid police draw a blank

German police were still clueless today in the hunt for four armed robbers who stole a slice of a poker tournament’s jackpot.

A spokesman said they were analysing evidence and talking to witnesses of Saturday’s raid in Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz.

The masked men armed with guns and machetes rushed into the tournament at the Berlin Grand Hyatt hotel.

Police said they got a “low six-digit figure” of the €1.1m jackpot.

The entire incident was caught on film and experts said the robbers should not be hard to catch.
