Pathologist contradicts claim made by Pistorius

A pathologist has told Oscar Pistorius' murder trial it would have been "abnormal" if the victim didn't scream when shot, even if it was in the head.

The athlete admits shooting his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentines Day last year, but denies murder.

Professor Gert Saayman has been cross-examined by the defence.

He has also reiterated his belief that Miss Steenkamp ate her last meal around two hours before her death - a claim which contradicts statements made by Mr Pistorius.

Professor Saayman's testimony is not allowed to be broadcast due to the sensitive nature of the material.
