Mother and girl found dead in Britain
09/01/2004 - 20:02:23A three-year-old girl and her mother have been found dead, British police said today.
Their bodies were discovered at around midday at a property in Merseyside.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said the woman was believed to be aged in her 30s.
She added: “An investigation has been launched after the discovery of the bodies earlier today.
“A Home Office pathologist is conducting post mortem examinatons and the deaths are currently being treated as suspicious.”
The ambulance service was initially called to the scene but were stood down after a doctor confirmed the mother and daughter were dead.
