Jackson witness charged with sex assault

A potential witness in Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly bragging to his 14-year-old victim about how “smooth” the pop star was.

Ahmad Elatab, 18, was released on bail from a New Jersey prison after admitting sleeping with a minor.

He claimed it was consensual but the girl said some acts were forced on her.

He was charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and impairing the morals of a minor.

Police said the girl knew Elatab from a belly-dancing class and invited him home while her parents were asleep.

She said they looked at pornography and he boasted about being at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch and watching the singer seduce a girl.

Elatab was arrested after a teacher intercepted a graphic note of the encounter as the girl passed it to a classmate.

He denied telling her he saw Jackson seduce a girl but admitted describing how “smooth” he was and how the singer knew how to talk to women.

Elatab is on the list of potential defence witnesses in the current trial, having befriended Jackson’s accuser in 2003.

He claims the boy told him Jackson helped him fight cancer through meditation and that he believed the singer had cured him of the disease.
