Israel's Parliament expected to approve March elections

Israel’s parliament is tomorrow expected to pass a bill dissolving itself and setting a date for new elections in March, parliamentary officials said today.

The dissolution bill, which has already passed a preliminary reading, would be sent to the assembly’s Law Committee this afternoon and would get the second of four required readings during the evening, said Knesset spokesman Giora Pordes .

The final two readings of the bill are expected tomorrow, he said.
