Hobson remanded on double murders charges
30/07/2004 - 10:12:15Former binman Mark Hobson was remanded in custody by magistrates today charged with murdering twin sisters and an elderly couple.
Hobson, 34, appeared for a brief hearing accused of killing 27-year-old sisters Claire and Diana Sanderson and pensioners James and Joan Britton in Yorkshire.
Hobson said nothing during the five minute hearing but acknowledged his name, age and address with a nod of the head.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Leeds Crown Court on August 6.
