Local council bosses across Greece have been called to an emergency meeting amid fears the country is close to running out of money again.

Local council bosses across Greece have been called to an emergency meeting amid fears the country is close to running out of money again.

The government has ordered any cash reserves those councils have should be made available to the State by way of short-term loans.

A number of mayors say they are considering appealing the order in court.
