German police have arrested two people in south Berlin who are suspected of belonging to an Islamist extremist group.

German police have arrested two people in south Berlin who are suspected of belonging to an Islamist extremist group.

A car has also been cordoned off, and nearby buildings evacuated.

Officers also searched a mosque in the west of the capital.
