France has launched new air strikes on the so-called 'Islamic State' group's stronghold of Raqqa in Syria, days after deadly attacks in Paris linked to the group.
The strikes early this morning, destroyed a command post and training camp, military spokesman Colonel Gilles Jaron said.
France carried out sweeping raids on Raqqa on Sunday night and French President Francois Hollande is calling for strengthened international action against 'IS' after the co-ordinated attacks around Paris on Friday night which killed at least 129 people.
