A foreigner travelling through the Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis was seized by Palestinian gunmen today.

They forced him out the vehicle and into their own, then sped away to an unknown destination, Palestinian witnesses said.

The abduction is the latest in a rash of kidnappings in Gaza since Israel’s withdrawal from the coastal strip in September.

On Friday, three Britons were released after being held by gunmen.
