South Korea has reported two new outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease, bringing to four the total cases in a week.

South Korea has reported two new outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease, bringing to four the total cases in a week.

Agriculture Ministry official Lee Sang-soo said eight cows at two farms in Pocheon, just north of Seoul, tested positive for the disease.

He added all 124 cows in the farms were slaughtered as a precautionary measure.
