A plane crash at Malta airport has killed at least five people.

The light aircraft, believed to be carrying EU border officials, crashed almost immediately after take-off.

The plane was destined for Misrata in Libya.

All flights to and from Malta airport have been postponed.

Malta International Airport has been closed while an investigation is carried out.
