Unemployment across the Eurozone has risen to the highest level since the single currency was created.

Figures for March and April show a record 11% jobless rate across the eurozone, meaning more than 17.4 million people are out of work.

Portugal's government has raised its unemployment forecast for this year to over 15%. That figure is still well below Spain's, which has nearly a 25%unemployment rate.
