EU incentive talks with Iran cancelled
05/07/2006 - 10:53:19Talks between Iran and the European Union on a package of incentives designed to defuse the stand-off over Tehran’s nuclear programme will not be held as scheduled tomorrow.
No date was set for a resumption of negotiations, an Iranian official said in Brussels today.
He declined to immediately elaborate on the postponement, saying a subsequent government statement would clarify the reasons behind it.
