In India, the five men charged with the gang rape and murder of a woman could face the death penalty if found guilty.

It is expected that a sixth man - who is under the age of 18 - will be tried under juvenile law and faces a maximum sentence of three years in jail.

The victim - a 23-year-old medical student - died on Saturday as result of injuries sustained in the attack.
