In the US, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are getting ready to face off in a 90-minute televised debate.
It is the first head-to-head debate between the two leading Presidential candidates, which is set to be watched by a domestic audience of over 100 million.
Professor of American Studies at Notre Dame University, Robert Schmuhl, has been looking ahead to tonight's debate: “What’s really important for someone like Donald Trump is to show a certain mastery of policy that he can deal with subjects in a specific manner.
“By contrast what Hillary Clinton has to guard against is making her remarks so specific that they become boring or tedious for the TV audience.”
