CCTV footage shows dramatic moment bomb exploded inside Istanbul airport

CCTV footage has emerged of the dramatic moment a bomb exploded at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul last night.

The airport surveillance video shows the moment of one blast, a huge ball of fire, and passengers fleeing in terror.

It is thought that three suicide bombers targeted the airport yesterday evening, and blew themselves up after opening fire on passengers, although there are conflicting accounts of the attack.

The death toll from the suicide attack has now risen to 41.

Twenty-three Turkish citizens and 13 foreign nationals were among those killed, and almost 150 other people were injured.

Turkish officials have blamed so-called 'Islamic State' militants.

Meanwhile, having woke up to the realisation that, yet again, it had been hit by another suicide bomb attack the Turkish media and people on the streets were unable to hide their anger.
