The British Prime Minister said that the people who carried out yesterday's suspected terrorist murder in south east London are sickening individuals.
David Cameron has been speaking in Downing Street after chairing an emergency meeting about the attack.
Scotland Yard has confirmed the victim - who was hacked to death on a Woolwich street - was a serving British soldier.
Two suspects - who are believed to have Nigerian backgrounds - are under arrest in hospital having been shot by the police at the scene.
Mr Cameron said there is nothing in Islam which justifies the attack and is urging people to go about their normal lives.
Away from London, Lincolnshire Police said that a property in Saxilby near Lincoln has been searched as part of the investigation.
Speaking from Downing Street, David Cameron said that Britain will only get stronger from this incident.
"The police and security services will follow every lead, will turn over every piece of evidence, will make every connection," he said.
"And will not rest until we know every single detail of what happened and we have brought all of those responsible to justice."
