A small bomb exploded under a parked car in Madrid, Spain today as police were removing it, causing slight damage but no injuries, officials said.

A small bomb exploded under a parked car in Madrid, Spain today as police were removing it, causing slight damage but no injuries, officials said.

A telephone call had alerted police to a device that had what looked like wires sticking out, a police spokesman said.

The owner of the vehicle was known to police and terorism was not suspected, he added.

The explosion caused slight damage to at least two parked cars.
