BMW is to recall over 90,000 Mini Coopers in the United States.

BMW recalls more than 90,000 Minis in the US

BMW is to recall over 90,000 Mini Coopers in the United States.

It is over fears that a technical fault could prevent the passenger seat airbag from working in a crash.

The cars affected include the Mini Cooper and Mini Cooper S made between 2005 and 2008.

There has only been one report of a minor injury so far.

The recall is due to begin May 1.
