Waiter wakes up at own funeral
14/05/2012 - 19:01:20An Egyptian waiter shocked mourners when he woke up at his own funeral.
Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi, 28, from Naga al-Simmanm, was declared dead after he suffered a heart attack at work but he stunned onlookers by waking up shortly before being buried.
A doctor revived Hamdi after discovering he was still breathing when she checked his body, which had been washed and prepared ahead of his funeral.
Hamdi's mother fainted when she heard the news and his wake was then turned into a celebration of his so-called "resurrection".
