Unusual parking spot stuns village
22/06/2012 - 17:59:51Residents of a British village were left stunned when a resident parked a car in a tree.
Gregan Thompson admitted he positioned a three-wheeled Reliant Robin motor in the oak tree "for a laugh" as the classic car racer needed its engine to place in another vehicle and no longer had a use for it.
The 54-year-old joker spent one hour-and-a-half getting the three-wheeled motor in the tree with help from some of his friends.
He said: "I have had lots of people asking is it trying to be modern art but it's really not.
"I really just put it up there for the hell of it. It's really only people on the canal who see it and you hear the odd comment of 'what on earth is that doing there?'
