Nurse tells man: 'Huh, this scan says you’re a female'
A US father of six was stunned to discover he's a woman.
Steve Crecelius - who was born with both male and female traits - found out he was a woman when he went to hospital with a kidney stone.
An ultrasound scan showed he had female organs. A nurse told him he was, in fact, a woman.
The 40-year-old now wants to be a known as Stevie, a change that his wife and six kids fully support.
He is quoted by Fox31 as saying: "I remember wearing my mom’s clothes and makeup, very secretly, not telling anybody. I had a kidney stone and we’re in the emergency room.
"The nurse is reading the ultrasound and says, 'Huh, this says you’re a female'. It validated everything I had always felt inside."
