Folding chair traps Swede for two days
25/05/2012 - 16:57:49An elderly woman in Sweden got trapped in a chair for two days.
The 84-year-old lady - whose identity has not been released - was enjoying the sunshine on her balcony in Karlskrona, south-east Sweden, when her folding chair collapsed underneath her and she couldn't move.
Friends became worried when she didn't turn up to a church service and an untouched newspaper was left on her doorstep, but one neighbour used a spare key to enter her apartment and she was discovered on her balcony.
Firefighters were later called to get her out of the chair.
