A British airline has appointed a whispering coach to help cabin crew to avoid disturbing Upper Class passengers.
Virgin Atlantic is teaching staff to whisper to its highest-paying passengers during a one-day training course ahead of the opening of its Upper Class Dream Suite.
Virgin's customer service training supervisor and new whispering coach Richard Fitzgerald is aiming to achieve "the most comfortable experience possible" for the airline's customers.
He said: "The crew are now trained to whisper at tones between 20 and 30 decibels due to its calming effect and the fact that it won't disturb other passengers whilst lights are out.
"It is incredibly important that all Virgin Atlantic's cabin crew have their skills honed in order to provide the most comfortable experience possible for our passengers."
