Burglars snort man and dogs’ ashes

Five American teenagers broke into a Florida home and snorted the ashes of the owner’s dead father and her deceased dogs.

The dim-witted burglars got into the property in Silver Springs and decided to inhale the remains of the man and the mutts after mistaking them for drugs.

The victim was stunned when she returned home to find the empty urns as well as discovering a number of electronic gadgets and several pieces of jewellery were gone.

Marion County Sheriff's deputies later learned the suspects had stolen the ashes after deciding they were cocaine, but soon dumped them after realising their error.

Waldo Soroa, 19, Matrix Andaluz, 18, Jose David Diaz Marrero, 19, and two juvenile suspects who cannot be named have all been arrested in relation to the incident.
