Baby girl saved from collapsed building in Kenya after more than three days

A seven-month-old baby has been rescued from the rubble of a building that collapsed in Kenya three and a half days ago, a hospital official said.

Simon Ithae, spokesman of the Kenyatta National hospital, said baby Dealeryn Saisi Wasike was pulled from the rubble of the seven-story building at 4am local time.

She has been reunited with her father, through the Red Cross tracing service.

Mr Ithae said the baby had no physical injuries and is being treated for dehydration.

The death toll from the collapsed building now stands at 23, according to police, and the Kenya Red Cross said that 93 people have been reported missing.
