BA plane returns to Greek airport

A British Airways plane flying to London’s Gatwick Airport returned to northern Greece today after experiencing a problem with its electrical system, Greek authorities said.

A British Airways plane flying to London’s Gatwick Airport returned to northern Greece today after experiencing a problem with its electrical system, Greek authorities said.

BA Flight 2643 turned around while flying over neighbouring Macedonia, officials at Thessaloniki airport said. The Boeing 737 was carrying 95 passengers.

The flight was cancelled pending an inspection of the problem.
