In the UK, it is feared the murder of soldier Lee Rigby has provoked an increase in anti-Muslim abuse.

The organisation 'Faith Matters' said that 150 incidents have been reported in the last few days - where as they normally receive between four and six reports each day.

The incidents include attacks on mosques, racial abuse and comments made on social media.

"There has been a significant jump in the numbers that we received," said the director of the group Fiyaz Mughal.
