The estranged wife of a billionaire financier who got about £200m less than she wanted after one of the biggest divorce money fights seen in an English court says she has decided not to mount an appeal.
A High Court judge ordered Sir Chris Hohn, 48, to hand about a third of a £1bn fortune to Jamie Cooper-Hohn, 49, earlier this month.
He said she should get a quarter. She said she should get half.
Judge Mrs Justice Roberts awarded Mrs Cooper-Hohn 36% – £337m - earlier this month following a trial in the Family Division of the High Court in London.
Chris Hohn had said she should get a quarter. Mrs Cooper-Hohn had said she should get half.
Mrs Cooper-Hohn today said she had considered appealing but decided against it.
