The Istanbul airport suicide attackers were from Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, Turkish officials have said.
Police in Turkey have detained 13 people in connection with the deadly suicide attack on Istanbul's Ataturk Airport.
Three foreign nationals are among the group of suspects detained in Istanbul on Thursday, the Anadolu Agency said, after police conducted simultaneous raids at 16 locations in the city.
The gun and bomb attack on the airport on Tuesday night left 42 people dead and more than 230 others injured.
In a separate operation in the coastal city of Izmir, nine suspects linked to the Islamic State group were detained during a large-scale police operation.
The raids unfolded simultaneously in the neighbourhoods of Konak, Bucak, Karabaglar and Bornova.
